COOKIE SETTINGS

Useful insight.
Your choice first.

OXIDE uses only essential storage by default. Optional analytics will only run after you choose to allow it.

Privacy Notice
AT A GLANCE

No advertising cookies.

OXIDE Surface Preparation is operated as a sole-trader business. The website uses a small first-party preference record to remember whether you chose optional analytics or essential-only operation.

Analytics is optional.
The website is prepared for Google Analytics 4, but the analytics service only loads after consent and once OXIDE connects a live analytics property. Advertising and remarketing cookies are not enabled.
WHAT THE SITE STORES

Two simple categories.

Essential preference

A first-party OXIDE consent preference may be stored as a cookie and, where needed for browser compatibility, equivalent local browser storage. It records only whether you selected analytics or essential-only.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics and a live GA4 property is connected, Google Analytics can receive anonymous or pseudonymous usage information about page visits and selected website interactions.

No advertising category

OXIDE does not currently enable advertising, remarketing, cross-site profiling or personalised-ad cookies through this site.

Server records

IONOS, the website hosting provider, may create normal security and access logs when pages are requested. These are separate from the optional website analytics preference.

WHAT WE PLAN TO MEASURE

Business usefulness, not customer profiling.

Once the live analytics property is connected, the current tracking plan is limited to website performance and conversion-type actions such as page views, service-page clicks, quote-form starts, successful quote requests, phone/email/WhatsApp clicks, photo-upload counts, the “Can it be blasted?” checker and broad scroll-depth milestones.

We deliberately exclude names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postcodes, job descriptions, uploaded photographs and free-text form content from the analytics event parameters.

YOUR CONTROL

Accept, reject or change your mind.

The first banner gives equally direct options to allow analytics or continue with essential-only storage. You can reopen the controls at any time using the Cookie settings link in the website footer.

If you change from analytics to essential-only, OXIDE stops loading analytics on future page loads. Browser or provider-side data already collected before you changed the preference may remain subject to the provider's normal retention controls.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Ready for launch configuration.

The website contains consent-controlled GA4 integration, but the measurement ID is intentionally left as a placeholder until the live Google Analytics property is created. That means no Google Analytics request is sent until a live measurement ID is configured and analytics consent has been given.

When GA4 is connected, this page and the Privacy Notice should be checked again against the final Google account settings and data-retention choice.

For the wider handling of personal information submitted through enquiries, see the OXIDE Privacy Notice.

Want to change your choice?

Open the cookie controls at any time. Essential-only use will keep the site available without optional analytics.
